As I laze about in SL shopping and chilling with people I see more and more of the content theft signs in stores. Store owners, creators of items in SL are truly concerned about this matter! And I full agree that it must stop. Exactly where does someone come off stealing ideas and passing them off as their own? Even Minnu a famous model skin maker in SL has stopped production of skins for the time being because of it. People need to realize how much this effects everyone. Content theft is NO JOKE. To some people their SL store or business is their RL livelihood as well. You are screwing with peoples love for a game and their money as well. So I decided to write this small blog in response to those who steal creations from hard working SL members and try to sell them as their own. STOP doing this! You are not going to be looked at as anything but a liar and a theif. If you wish that kind of status in SL then your no better then the common greifer who bombs clubs and such. Put your foot down if you see content theft happening as well! If you see someone stealing ideas report them to the original creator and do the right thing.
